Outside of the obvious- I respected how much he loved his wife- I watched an interview the other day and saw their energies bounce off one another.

My mom used to be into him when I was a kid, and I got into him because so many bands I love- Social D, Soundgarden, etc- did covers of his songs.

Being a musician, I owe so much inspiration to Johnny Cash. A man who didn't follow trends, had his own unique style, who wrote and sang from his heart. He is in the Country music Hall of Fame, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That says it all.
