THANK-YOU!

Alter gets it. Had a morning tirade on this very subject. If the Edwards decided to campaign and that's what helps her feel viable and maybe even survive longer, it's despicable to judge.

Not everyone needs to spend their last hours belly up on a beach, especially if there is a personal mission at hand. He's extremely well-spoken, has decent ideas- but next to media frenzy of a woman and a black man running, hasn't gotten much play yet.

If he'd dropped out, the same yokels passing the time by telling everyone how power-hungry he is would be telling us what a spineless wimp he was for dropping out for a woman.

It is her body and her life. But it is his candidacy. There is no reason for him to continue a failing candidacy given her incurable condition. He is a self interested schmuck.

It's HER body and HER life. If she wants him to be President, and she has helped him thus far, then it is up to HER. I'm sure she would feel better knowing if she dies, our country will have a real President instead of a vicious, pampered, idiot with a hard on for war the way we do now. I applaud them both and admire them for their courage.
I'm so glad Edwards is now surpassing Obama and Clinton in the polls. He wanted to fight the stolen election of 2004, unlike Kerry. It's time we stopped deciding the personal lives of politicians and paid more attention to their leadership qualities. It's tragic that people cannot even endure their pain in private but must have it picked over by the populace. I want to know what his plans are, not what the next chemotherapy for his wife will be. I wish them both well.

I wouldn't say he was spinelss for dropping out. I would say he was a wise man and he would actually go up a notch, from zero to one albeit, in my eyes.
