Not a law?

Did you know that it is illegal to prevent (within the States) a U.S. citizen from boarding an airplane if they don't have  Gov't issued identification?

Interesting read. Not sure I'd ever have the balls to try it- and just as big a hassle for me as everyone else if I did- but vaguely gratifying in some way that I could.

Gotta love it!

I am currently in Miami right now, recovering from a massive hangover, watching everyone get ready for a wedding ( the mother of the groom hasn't worn heels in a few years, and just fell over backwards, quite a scene) tonight, and generally in good spirits. So apologize for the lack of posting!

Last night was terrific. In South Beach, the Marlins won, and there could not have been a better place to be for that moment ( except perhaps in the stands)! Loads of people in the streets, cars honking, men gratuitiously hugging in public- quintessential moment.

No, Toto, it ain't Kansas

No Oz, either. That, folks, is just a scene from the life of a Tulsan.

Some things really don't change.

"Oklahoma is okay". That is the state slogan.

Except, it really isn't okay.

Viva la desert!!!

Update:
It occured to me that this was a bit cryptic of a slam on Oklahoma. Let me clarify by noting I was in Green Country ( as the NE part of the state is called) last weekend, and the culture shock is still fresh. Odd thing is, I lived there from age 10-23. I hadn't been back in 8 years, and after so long in a major city- well, WOW.
Suddenly all those jokes about me being from OK and still having all my teeth make perfect sense!
